Scott Dale is a candidate for Planning Commission to help guide smart growth consistent with town values – especially the Town Center. He currently serves as a Planning Commission alternate.
Scott grew up in Danbury and has lived in Brookfield with his wife, Eileen, since 2000. They have two children who attend Brookfield schools.
Scott has decades of experience developing international trade programs for growing companies. He helps them navigate through USMCA and other trade agreements, Section 301 (China) tariffs, Buy American and the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism. This often involves direct interaction with government agencies like Customs & Border Protection. His responsibility is to break down and make sense of trade regulations, then develop plans to successfully implement.
He has a long history of coaching youth sports for both boys and girls, including baseball and basketball. He still plays basketball at the Danbury PAL and was involved with Danbury and Brookfield softball leagues for many years. He and his family are members of St Joseph’s church.
He has a B.A. from the University of Connecticut and holds a Customs Broker License.
