William
B. (Bruce) Macdonald
Board of Education
Incumbent
Email: os39029@aol.com
POSITION
I am seeking reelection to my position on the Board of Education. The
Brookfield Board of Education needs leadership with vision and competent
management experience to bring about positive changes in our town's education
system. This year we made significant progress in improving the quality
of communications and the quality of our televised board meetings, reducing
our facility costs throughout the district, and bring to completion the
High School renovations. I have over 30 years of business experience,
as a senior executive in the areas of Information Technology, Finance,
and Facilities. I have been instrumental in bringing specific accomplishments
to the district that have contributed to more open communications and
improving the level of transparency between the community and the Board
of Education. Eighteen months ago I was appointed to fill an open vacancy
created by Richard Cass' departure from the school board and I am asking
for your support in November to continue the good work I have started!
