My background

I am a married attorney who has lived in Brookfield for three years. I have a 7-year-old daughter in the Brookfield School system.  I graduated from Southern Connecticut State University and Quinnipiac University School of Law.  The public education system in Brookfield was a major consideration to my family when choosing where to live.

 

Most Important Policy:

The most important policy issue facing the Brookfield Board of Education is invariably the education budget.  So many other issues (such as staffing, curriculum, technology, transportation, maintenance, security, etc.) are dependent on maintaining proper funding.  We need to provide the necessary resources to ensure that the Brookfield educational system remains superior and affords our children the best possible education.  Having a highly regarded public education system increases home values and builds community.
