As a candidate for the Zoning Commission I'd be honored to represent the Town of Brookfield. I look forward to offering my knowledge, experience and commitment to our town. This will allow me the opportunity to give back as well as be part of the growth and development in Brookfield. When elected, I'll work diligently for the Town of Brookfield and my fellow neighbors.

I've resided in Brookfield since 1994 with my wife Rebecca, and our three children; Amanda who attends WCSU, and our boys Adam and Andrew who attend Brookfield schools.

Currently, I'm the alternate for the Brookfield Zoning, and have participated for almost 2 years.

I've been employed by the City of Danbury for the last 25 years, and currently hold the position of Assistant Construction Manager. I oversee all aspects of building, infrastructure, and construction projects undertaken by the City including budgets, time lines, plans and specifications (including materials, method and equipment). This includes project inspection, monitoring, tracking, and reviewing related documentation as well as interaction with related departments, state/federal agencies, legal and/or vendors for such projects. I review/approve site plans submitted for new and old construction, and confer with architects and engineers on construction projects/matters.

I have considerable knowledge of state, local ordinances and regulation as well as public works practices and standards. I have the ability to manage tasks, understand building codes, fire codes and ADA/OSHA regulations.

Previously, I've held the position of Permit Inspector where I was responsible for issuing permits for required road work and proposed construction including site plans and enforcement.

City Ordinances are currently within my duties. My recent accomplishments are White Street revitalization, Lincoln Avenue, Stadley Rough School, Ellsworth Avenue School, Kenosia Avenue soccer fields and Tarrywile children garden as well as numerous road reconstruction and drainage projects.

A 1981 graduate of Danbury High school, I've earned my Certifications in OSHA 10 as well as Dynamics of Supervision, and most recently completed National Incident Management System 700 among many certificates, seminar and other forums/credentials within construction industry.

I respectfully look forward to becoming a part of a dynamic, driven group of individuals allowing Brookfield to prosper with my contribution.
